I’m incredibly proud to share that Face Lab, the MA Art in Science programme, and Liverpool John Moores University have been awarded the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Prize for Education (formerly the Queen’s Anniversary Prize).
The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Education recognises outstanding excellence and innovation in education and research across the UK. It celebrates institutions whose work has made a significant national and international impact particularly projects that demonstrate transformative approaches to knowledge, collaboration, and public engagement.

The award highlights the value of interdisciplinary research and the powerful exchange between creative and scientific practice. The ceremony took place at St James’s Palace, where the award was presented by the King and Queen. It was a privilege to be invited to the palace as an associate postgraduate student and to witness this remarkable achievement formally recognised in such a historic setting.
